Situated on a diverse, wildlife-rich, private Big Five concession, andBeyond Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge has exclusive traversing rights over a vast 22,500 hectares (55,600 acres) of wildlife land bordering the Moremi Game Reserve. Enjoy iconic wildlife encounters on foot and from a vehicle.
Enjoy twice-daily game drives that set off early in the morning or late in the afternoon (continuing after nightfall), in the company of local career guides who will do their best to ensure that all your wishes are met. You will be encouraged not only to go in search of the Big Five, but also to appreciate the wonderful array of flora and fauna dotted across the Okavango Delta.
Drawing its inspiration from nature, the lodge features breathtaking architecture that is serene, earthy and organic. Each suite looks over the Santantadibe Channel and golden reed beds. Large wooden and mesh sliding doors open onto a private multi-level deck, with a seating area, daybed, outdoor shower and rim-flow plunge pool. Enjoy a king size or twin beds, serving hatch, well-stocked personal bar, walk-in wardrobe, open-plan lounge area and ensuite bathroom.

Optional extra: Take to the skies for a bird's-eye view over the Okavango Delta’s signature of blue waters against the green and brown tapestry of papyrus fringed islands and open floodplains. From these heights, even those far-flung and inaccessible corners of the Delta can be seen, fully showcasing the incredible diversity of landscapes and wildlife.
Best time to visit: June to October (bookings need to be placed well in advance and rates will be substantially higher as this is peak season)
Access to the lodge:
Scheduled charter flight to Chitabe airstrip within the Okavango Delta, followed by an hour game drive transfer to the lodge

Itinerary:
Day 1
· Collected from Chitabe Airstrip and travel one hour to the lodge
· This afternoon embark on your first safari activity in the Okavango
· After your evening game drive, enjoy a pan-African al fresco dinner under the stars and around the open blazing fire in the lodge’s traditional boma.
· Overnight: &Beyond Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge Full Board
Day 2
· Early morning start as you head out on safari to experience the awakening of the Okavango
· Return to camp for a scrumptious breakfast
· The rest of the day is at leisure to relax on your private verandah, lounge by the pool, or indulge in a variety of massage treatments on offer. There is also a beautiful safari shop at the camp filled with all sorts of delights that showcase the very best of Botswana’s handicrafts and fashion.

What to bring:
· Neutral (beige, green, and browns) colour tones for your safari attire
· Suitable layers according to season you are traveling/ light cottons during the summer
· A fleece/ sweater and a warm jacket is always useful for the evenings and early mornings if temperatures drop
