DESCRIPTION
A fantastic tour for the history enthusiasts, which includes South Africa’s much loved ‘Mother City’ and a Big Five Safari. A visit to the province of KwaZulu-Natal will take us to the historic battlefields of The Anglo Boer War and Anglo Zulu War, both of which changed the course of South African history. The Anglo Boer war was a brutal battle between Britain forces and the Boers of South Africa, lasting from 1899- 1902; we visit the battlefield of Spion Kop and relive the events that unfolded in January 1900. The Anglo Zulu War of 1879 will take us to Isandlwana and onto Rorke’s Drift for a riveting account of the battle between the British Empire and the Zulu Kingdom.
