Etosha National Park & Swakopmund

Etosha National Park is malaria-free and undeniably one of the most unique wildlife destinations in Africa because of the incredibly large salt pan that covers almost a quarter of the park. The dusty white landscape paired with wildlife, big and small, is quite a sight to behold! Journeying southwest, one will discover the coastal town of Swakopmund, which is perfectly situated between the Namib Desert and the Atlantic Ocean – a great place to chill out or embark on fun, desert adventures nearby.

ITINERARY

Day 1

· Collected from Windhoek and travel to Etosha Village, located 2km from the entrance to Namibia’s Animal Kingdom (the drive is approximately 5.5 hours)

· A warm welcome awaits as we check in and walk around the ‘village’ that has been designed to reflect a traditional Namibian rural village with a few extras for guests’ comfort

· This afternoon kick back and relax by the pool

· Dinner

Overnight: Etosha Village DBB

Day 2

• Early morning departure for a full day safari in Etosha National Park looking for Africa’s wildlife

• Return to the village for a delicious dinner

Overnight: Etosha Village DBB

Day 3

· After a leisurely breakfast we take a long, but adventurous, drive to Swakopmund

· Arrive in Swakopmund in the afternoon

· Check in to guesthouse

· The rest of the day is at leisure to stretch your legs and explore the town

Day 4

· This morning we visit the local market

· There is the option to spend the rest of the day by the beach or partake in horse-back riding or a desert eco tour in the afternoon (own account)

Day 5

· After breakfast we return to Namibia’s Capital city, Windhoek
