Kruger National Park & Sabi Sand Game Reserve

DESCRIPTION

The Kruger National Park is a safari destination unlike any other, situated in the provinces of Limpopo and Mpumalanga in South Africa. The main draw card, of course, is the abundance of wildlife that roams the land but the environment you will find yourself in is just as exquisite. Gorgeous river scenes, savannah grassland and thorn and marula woodlands all make up this wonderfully wild location. 

Within the Kruger are Private Game Reserves that share unfenced borders with the park. These reserves, or concessions as they are also known, offer private lodge accommodation and game drives in open vehicles. 

The Sabi Sands is situated in the southwestern corner of the Kruger National Park, sharing a 50km unfenced border. It is well known for its leopard sightings and Big Five encounters are almost assured. The final leg of this tour is spent visiting Mpumalanga's famed Panorama Route.

ITINERARY

DAY 1

• Flight ex Jhb International Airport to Kruger International Airport or Hoedspruit Airport 

• Road transfer from airport to the Kruger National Park

• Check in

• Afternoon high tea

• Game drive & sundowners

• Return to the lodge for dinner

• Overnight: Kruger National Park Private Lodge full board

DAY 2

• Sunrise and sunset game drives (the ideal times for wildlife sightings)

• Your time in between is at leisure to relax or partake in additional activities

• Dinner

• Overnight: Kruger National Park Private Lodge full board

DAY 3

• After a leisurely breakfast we depart for the Sabi Sands area

• Check into your lodge

• High tea

• Evening game drive with sun downers en route

• Return to the lodge early evening for dinner

• Overnight: Sabi Sands Private Lodge full board

DAY 4

• Early morning game drive

• Return for breakfast at the lodge

• Afternoon at leisure

• Game drive & sundowners

• Dinner

• Overnight: Sabi Sands Private Lodge full board

DAY 5

• Final morning game drive

• Return to the lodge for breakfast

• We depart the Kruger National Park for a day trip of the Panorama route. (This tour offers unique photographic opportunities of some of South Africa’s most beautiful landscapes)

• Overnight: Graskop guesthouse B&B

DAY 6

• Road transfer to Hoedspruit Airport for flight to Johannesburg International Airport
