ITINERARY

Day 1

· Flight ex O.R Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg) to Livingstone International Airport (Zambia)

· Collected from airport and transferred to your luxury lodge on the Zambezi

· This afternoon head out for a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. The Zambezi runs between Zambia and Zimbabwe serving as a border between the two countries for 500km’s. Hippos and crocodiles are common inhabitants (swim in the pool rather!) and bird life is plentiful

· Return to the lodge for dinner under the stars

Day 2

· Breakfast

· Spend the morning experiencing the largest waterfall in the world – there are numerous walkways around the falls that offer excellent viewing points. Victoria Falls, also known by the locals as ‘Mosi-oa-Tunya’ which means ‘the smoke that thunders’, is one of the largest waterfalls in the world

· Return to the hotel for lunch overlooking the Zambezi

· This afternoon is at leisure to chill by the pool and relax in this peaceful location. If you enjoy adventure then we recommend booking activities this afternoon and tomorrow to make the most of what is on offer in this area, for example: helicopter flip or microlight flight over the falls, horse riding, quad biking, or spa treatments

Day 3

· Today is at leisure to enjoy the lodge and its comforts or partake in adventure activities mentioned above. If you are interested in booking something, then please let us know so that we organise this for you in advance to ensure your place for that activity

Day 4

· Breakfast

· Check out

· Road transfer to your lodge situated on the banks of the Chobe River in Botswana

· Check in

· Afternoon game drive in open vehicle in Chobe National Park – an area known for its large herds of elephants made up of floodplains, swamps, and woodland. There is a diverse and large concentration of wildlife in this park, and you can expect to have a brilliant safari experience

· Return to your lodge for dinner

Day 5

· Early morning safari in open vehicle

· Return to the lodge for breakfast

· Relax at the pool or sign up for additional activities such as a bush walk with your wildlife ranger or a cultural village tour

· This afternoon head out on another exciting game drive to view several wildlife species in this wild location

· Dinner

Overnight: Chobe Eco Lodge DBB

Day 6

· After breakfast we will transfer to Kasane Airport for a chartered flight into the Okavango Delta

· You will be met on the bush airstrip by your welcoming host and transferred to the camp

· Check in

· This afternoon we partake in a safari activity

Overnight: Okavango Delta Lodge Full Board

Day 7

· Early morning safari activity in mokoro – this is a dugout canoe that you sit in while your ranger stands and propels the vessel through the canals of the delta for a truly unique wildlife experience

· Return to the lodge for breakfast

· Morning at leisure

· Lunch

· Afternoon safari activity

· Return to the lodge for dinner

Day 8

· Check out

· Transfer to airstrip
