Luxury Sabi Sands Game Reserve Experience

DESCRIPTION

In the African bush one can never guarantee wildlife sightings, however the Sabi Sand Game Reserve has become known for its frequent sightings of the most elusive of animal species, the African leopard, as well as other members of the Big Five. Although this private reserve is adjacent to the Kruger National Park there are no fences separating them, allowing wildlife to roam freely between the two destinations. The only way to experience a safari in the Sabi Sand is to stay at one of the many lodges on offer in the reserve. On this trip you will fly into the Kruger National Park’s airport, Skukuza, and transfer to a stunning lodge overlooking the Sand River. Over the next 3 days, expert trackers and rangers will take you on an adventure like no other as you traverse the 10,500 hectares of private land for an unforgettable up-close game viewing experience!

ITINERARY

DAY 1

• Flight ex JHB International Airport to Skukuza Airport

• Road transfer from Skukuza to Kirkman’s Kamp in the Sabi Sands

• Check in

• Afternoon high tea

• Head out on your first game drive in the Sabi Sand in search of African wildlife

• Enjoy sundowners in the bush along the way

• Return to the lodge for dinner under the stars

• Overnight: andBeyond Kirkman’s Kamp Full Board

DAY 2

• Early morning start as you set out in an open 4x4 safari vehicle with your rangers who will do their best to get you sightings of your favourite animal species – your guide and tracker have a wealth of knowledge so fire away with your questions; they will be more than happy to share their research!

• Your time in between is at leisure to relax by the sparkling swimming pool with lunch served on the rolling lawns

• Afternoon safari game drive

• Dinner

• Overnight: andBeyond Kirkman’s Kamp Full Board

DAY 3

• Final early morning game drive

• Return to the lodge for a delicious breakfast

• Transfer mid-morning to Skukuza Airport for your flight to Johannesburg

• Flight ex Skukuza to JHB international Airport
