A colourful, 4-day tour that combines the culture and wildlife of Tanzania. The Olpopongi Maasai Cultural Village is situated in the West-Kilimanjaro Maasailand and welcomes visitors to Maasai life in an authentic and respectful way. Your visit will support local Maasai families with water, food, employment, personal income, medical treatments and education. This cultural experience is followed by a safari in Arusha National Park, home to Tanzania’s second highest mountain and the world’s largest population of giraffes. With Tanzania being one of the largest coffee growing country’s in the world, our trip ends with a delicious Coffee Tour before returning you to Arusha.


ITINERARY


Day 1

• Collected from your accommodation in Arusha

• Travel to Olpopongi Maasai Cultural Village

• Museum & Village Tour

• Traditional Lunch

• Walking safari in the Maasai territory

• Learn about Maasai hunting techniques and natural medicine

• Evening Maasai Ceremony and BBQ

• Overnight: Maasai Village Full Board


Day 2

• After breakfast we depart for Arusha National Park where we spend the day exploring the park and everything it has to offer

• Return to our accommodation, which is near to the entrance of the park, in the late afternoon

• Overnight: Arusha National Accommodation DBB


Day 3

• Early morning to start to spend a full day in the park to enjoy those special wildlife moments

• Return in the late afternoon

• Overnight: Arusha National Park Accommodation DBB


Day 4

• This morning we experience a Tanzanian Coffee Tour, where one of the local farmers will walk you through the process of growing, picking, and drying the berries, followed by a tour of the factory where the coffee is ground and packaged as the delicious final product enjoyed the world over.
