Rhino Sands Safari Camp

DESCRIPTION

A family-run safari camp, Rhino Sands is the perfect retreat for those seeking solitude and a bit of adventure. The camp is made up of luxury canvas tents, which effortlessly blends into the surrounding environment, which is home to all the Big Five animals (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion and rhino) and other wildlife species. This is an intimate camp with only 8 guests able to stay at one time and safari game drives accommodating a maximum of 6 persons per vehicle. Expert wildlife rangers will take you out on twice daily game drives in the early mornings and late afternoons to give you the very best opportunities of seeing your favourite animals.

Each tent features a lounge, bathroom with bathtub and shower, private deck with plunge pool, outdoor shower, and bedroom that can be configured as a king or two singles.

ITINERARY

DAY 1

• Check in by 14h30pm latest at Rhino Sands Safari Camp

• Enjoy a lovely lunch on arrival overlooking exquisite scenery

• In afternoon head out on a safari game drive in search of wildlife

• Sundowners in the bush (a truly authentic African experience!)

• Gather around the camp fire back at the lodge before dinner and here stories form the day unfold

• Enjoy a gourmet three-course dinner

• Overnight: Rhino Sands Safari Camp Full Board

DAY 2

• Early morning wake-up call

• Depart for a game drive as the sun rises to experience the awakening of the bush

• Return to camp for a large breakfast consisting of a continental tray followed by a cooked-to-order hot breakfast, a well-deserved feast after the long morning’s adventures

• Spend the morning relaxing by your private plunge pool and enjoying this peaceful sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of life

• Leisurely lunch

• Afternoon/ evening safari game drive

• Dinner

• Overnight: Rhino Sands Safari Camp Full Board

DAY 3

• This morning is your final game drive and your ranger will do his best to locate some excellent wildlife sightings for you

• Stop for a coffee break along the way in this wild, remote location that is Manyoni Private Game Reserve

• Return to camp for breakfast

• Check out by 10.30am – please settle any extra expenses you may have incurred during your stay
