West Coast Wonder

‘The West Coast is the best coast!’ they say, and a favourite among locals. We visit Langebaan, a popular area recognisable by its white beaches and clear waters and experience a seafood extravaganza at a unique beach restaurant. Throughout September and October, you will be welcomed by sprinkles of flowers across the landscape as we journey to Paternoster, a quaint fishing village made up of white-washed cottages set against picturesque beaches. Not much has changed since this town was first established and you can expect very little in terms of modernization and technology – ‘food for the soul’ we say!

ITINERARY

Day 1

• 9 am departure for Langebaan along Route 27

• Stop off at Bloubergstrand and view Table Mountain from across the Atlantic

• Continue to Langebaan and take a wander about the little beachside village

• Lunch is enjoyed at the renowned beach restaurant “Die Strandloper” – a unique experience!

• This afternoon we continue to Paternoster arriving in the early evening

• Check in

Overnight: Paternoster Guesthouse BB

Day 2

• 9am departure for Bird Island Nature Reserve to meet a large breeding colony of Cape Gannets

• Return to Paternoster in the early afternoon

• The rest of the day is at leisure to do as you please (we suggest hiring E-Bikes and exploring the area, these are available at the activity centre, otherwise sign up for other mini adventures on offer, or chill out on the beach!)

• There are several cafes and eateries serving fresh seafood and local dishes, which is part and parcel of the Paternoster experience!

Overnight: Paternoster Guesthouse BB

Day 3

• Morning at leisure

• Depart mid-morning for Cape Town
