Day 1: Lesotho
Hlotse
- Collected at 6am from your accommodation in Durban and transferred to Underberg.
- Traverse the breathtaking Sani Pass, stopping frequently for photo opportunities of the exquisite Drakensberg Mountain Range.
- After crossing the Lesotho border, drive across the Roof of Africa – a far cry from the western world!
- Visit a small traditional village and pass the Letšeng Diamond Mine, home to some of the clearest and largest diamonds in the world.
- Enjoy a lunch break at a lodge situated in the Maluti Mountain Range.
- Visit the Liphofung Bushman Paintings.
- Travel down the corkscrew Moteng Pass into the lush Lesotho Lowlands.
- Arrive in Hlotse for Dinner, Bed and Breakfast at an excellent facility.

Day 2: Lesotho
Semongkong
- After breakfast, visit the Leribe Craft Market to see how mohair is transformed into beautiful products by a group of disabled women.
- Visit Ha Kome Cannibal Caves – a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- Lunch at Thaba Bosiu – the 'Place of Kings'.
- After lunch, enjoy a 4×4 adventure to see ancient dinosaur footprints (road conditions permitting).
- Travel past the Ramabanta Trading Post, situated above the Makhaleng River Valley in the Maluti Mountains.
- Arrive in Semongkong – 'The Place of Smoke'.
- Optional activities: abseiling, hiking, or a horse ride to Maletsunyane Falls.
- Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge, where horses, donkeys, and cows wander through the village as shepherds usher them home.

Day 3: South Africa
Heading 4
- Enjoy a morning presentation in a local hut describing the significance of Basotho blankets – the national dress of Lesotho.
- Have a wholesome breakfast at Semongkong before departure.
- Drive through the steepest pass in Lesotho, offering dramatic views that rival even Sani Pass.
- Arrive at the Qacha’s Nek border post.
- Picnic lunch overlooking the vast South African Swartberg region.
- Return to Underberg by late afternoon.
- Transfer to Durban.
