Gracious and elegant, this charming lodge comprises six thatched suites decorated in a subtle blend of North and West African styles, with hints of a Balinese influence. Each suite, which features a luxurious ensuite bathroom, dressing room, private plunge pool and game viewing deck, overlooks a grassy meadow where guests can observe herds of grazing antelope and zebra, as well as a variety of birdlife. The atmosphere is exclusive and personal, with a mixture of understated sophistication and pure luxury. Large private lap pools provide the ideal place to relax and enjoy the drama of the African wilderness unfold, while warm and inviting open fireplaces make the comfortable guest sitting area the ideal place to unwind on a cool afternoon. Enjoy early morning and late afternoon game drives that continue after nightfall. andBeyond’s professionally trained guides will ask you about your favourite wildlife and will do their best to ensure that your preferences are met, whether it is tracking a particular species or spending more time enjoying each sighting and getting to know the habits of the animals. They will also tell you about the vegetation of the region and will explain the behaviour of the animals that you come across. In some cases, the guides will be able to identify individual animals and let you know about their history and habits.

andBeyond Phinda Private Game Reserve is renowned for its exceptional sightings of the elusive cheetah and the rare black rhino, as well as the Big Five. There are also several resident lion prides and rangers will do their best to provide you with an exceptional sighting of all of these animals.

INTINERARY

DAY 1

• Check in to Phinda Vlei Lodge between 12h00-14h00pm

• After settling in enjoy high tea followed by an exciting evening game drive with sundowner’s served enroute

• Return to the lodge for dinner

• Overnight: Phinda Vlei Lodge Full Board

DAY 2

• With the reputation of being one of the best places to view and photograph cheetahs in their natural environment we depart for an early morning game drive to track these elusive creatures, along with the other predators such as lion and leopard

• Afternoon at leisure to enjoy spa treatments or lounge by the pool

• With sunrise and sunset being the best times to look for game we head into the bush in open vehicles for another exhilarating safari

• Dinner

• Overnight: Phinda Vlei Lodge Full Board

DAY 3

• We depart for our final early morning game drive to seek those animals we may not have yet seen

• Return to the lodge for a buffet breakfast

• Check out 11h00am – please settle any extra expenses you may have incurred during your stay
