DESCRIPTION

The thrill of bumping into an elephant, spotting the elusive leopard or discovering a pride of lions lying low in the grasslands, is second to none. Warm hospitality awaits at Rhino River Lodge where you will be staying for the next two nights. There is a choice between deluxe rooms, family loft chalets, the cottage, and the homestead, all which offer ensuite, private, clean, and comfortable accommodation. Your knowledgeable and friendly ranger will do his best to bring you the best sightings of animals during your early morning and late afternoon safari game drives while traversing the 23’000 hectares of land in Manyoni Private Game Reserve. This is one of the largest privately owned reserves in KwaZulu-Natal with conservation at the core to protect threatened and endangered animal species.

ITINERARY

DAY 1

• Check in between 13h00-14h00pm at Rhino River Lodge

• Enjoy high tea on arrival overlooking exquisite scenery

• Exciting safari game drive in open vehicle

• Sundowners in the bush (a truly authentic African experience!)

• Return to camp for dinner

• Overnight: Rhino River Lodge Full Board

DAY 2

• Sunrise safari with your ranger

• Return to the lodge for breakfast

• Day at leisure to relax by the pool

• High Tea

• Afternoon safari game drive

• Dinner back at the lodge

• Overnight: Rhino River Lodge Full Board

DAY 3

• Early morning game drive

• Return to the lodge for a delicious breakfast

• Check out – please settle any extra expenses you may have incurred during your stay

OPTIONAL EXTRAS

• 2 hour night drive – R450.00 per adult / R350.00 per child (4 - 12years)

• 3 hour baby-sitting service – R400.00 per child (subject to nanny availability)

• Rhino dehorning – R1200.00 per adult. No children under 12 years permitted (subject to availability)

• Transfers can be arranged at R3500 each way from Durban and surrounds

• Children 4-12 years pay 50 % of the adults sharing rate
