About this trip

The Garden Route is a much-loved road trip that stretches along the south-eastern coast of South Africa. The route got its name from the incredibly diverse vegetation encountered in these parts with the landscape made up of forests, lakes, lagoons and, of course, the rugged coastline. Our first four days of this adventure are spent in Cape Town and the Winelands before setting off along the 200km drive. The trip culminates with a safari experience at one of South Africa's premier luxury lodges in the Eastern Cape - a malaria-free reserve that is home to Africa’s big Five (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo).
