DESCRIPTION

The Kruger National Park is South Africa’s largest and most abundant wildlife destinations. Made up of 7523 square miles of wilderness, visitors will be kept busy for days-on-end exploring this natural wonder. Home to the Big Five, namely Lion, Rhino, Elephant, Buffalo, and Leopard, as well as plenty of other animal species, the Kruger is an animal lover’s dream and a worthy bucket-list item. Within the park you will find what are called ‘private concessions’ and these are essentially made up of private safari lodges that have traversing rights to particular areas of the land in the Kruger. There are no physical borders or boundaries that separate the concessions, however only paying guests are allowed to enter. Off-road game drives are conducted in open-vehicles that take guests into the bush for close-up sightings. Experiencing the Kruger with a professional guide and tracker, which is what is provided at private safari lodges, is a wonderful and safe way to learn about Africa’s wildlife.

Safari lodge in the Kruger National Park: The lodge is steeped in modern day comfort and blends into the surrounding bush perfectly. The opportunity to immerse yourself into some of the rich culture of the Shangaan heritage and traditions will ensure an unforgettable safari experience. The luxury air conditioned ‘beehive’ suites, with earth coloured walls, king size beds, en-suite bathrooms, outdoor showers and private game viewing decks are charmingly decorated with African fabrics, décor and object d’art that are sourced from the local Tsonga community.
