About this trip

The Kruger National Park is South Africa's treasure and rightly so. Thousands of animals roam this almost 2 million hectares of land with big game such as lion, elephant, buffalo and rhino attracting visitors from all corners of the globe. The Crocodile River forms the southern boundary of the park and the Limpopo River, the northern boundary, a distance of more than 350km's between the two - that's a lot of terrain to cover and discover all kinds of species! For those who have been dreaming of experiencing an African safari in their lifetime, this destination is for you. The following day we set off on the next leg of your journey to one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, Victoria Falls.

Day 1: Kruger National Park

Flight from Jhb International Airport to Skukuza Airport (inside the Kruger National Park)

On arrival, please look out for a board on which your names will be displayed

Transfer through the park to Imbali Safari Lodge (the drive is approximately 1.5 hours)

This trip can be adjusted to suit your preferences such as the number of nights you wish to stay and the number of destinations you wish to combine with your trip. We also have several lodges we use that vary in cost for those looking for high-end luxury or more budget-friendly options
We recommend giving yourself an extra night in Johannesburg on arrival to ensure you make your morning flight to the Kruger. It will also give you the chance to catch up on rest and adjust to time differences before your safari experience
If you are traveling from Cape Town, we will adjust your itinerary to include flights from Cape Town International Airport into the Kruger
Your flight to Victoria Falls takes you to Zimbabwe, thereafter you will transfer by road to your lodge in Zambia
All lodges in South Africa and Zambia charge a single supplement rate for travellers staying on their own in a room, which is more expensive that the per person sharing rate
Family rooms are available at certain lodges for those traveling with small children
Please note we do not compromise on quality, so our travel packages are designed to give our guests the very best of this once in a lifetime experience
This trip takes you into a remote location in the Kruger Park where there is limited cell phone reception, however complimentary Wi-Fi is available for those needing to work or stay connected to the outside world
