About this trip
As we travel to our next destination, we stop at the Emdoneni Wildcat Project along the way for a tour of Africa’s endangered wildcat species. Our final two nights of this trip are spent at one of the best private game reserves in South Africa, Phinda Private Game Reserve. Phinda is often referred to as the ‘Seven Worlds of Wonder’ due to its green environment that contains seven distinct ecosystems. The reserve is home to an abundance of wildlife, including Africa’s Big 5, and is best known for its large population of cheetah and black rhino. Two game drives depart daily, early morning and afternoon, as this is the optimal time to see animals in action.

Travel to St Lucia World Heritage Site
This afternoon we enjoy a boat cruise on the estuary to view pods of hippos, the nile crocodile and beautiful birdlife
Pick a spot for dinner in the town, but keep your eyes peeled for hippos!
