Sabi Sands Game Reserve Experience

DESCRIPTION

In the northern section of the Sabi Sands Game Reserve you will find a little treasure called Elephant Plains Game Lodge situated on the dry Manyeleti riverbed. During your stay you can expect warm hospitality, riveting game drives, and very comfortable accommodation in one of the best safari destinations in Africa. Brace yourselves for brilliant encounters with Africa’s wildlife as you head out into the bush in 4x4’s in the early morning and late afternoons. Each game drive lasts about three hours and in between you can make use of the lodge’s two swimming pools, gym, and games room.

Possible animal encounters include: buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion and rhino among other wildlife species

This lodge is family-friendly and children over the age of 3 are allowed on game drives

ITINERARY

DAY 1

• Flight ex JHB International Airport to Hoedspruit Airport

• Collected from Hoedspruit Airport – please look out for a board on which your names will be displayed

• Transferred to your lodge in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve

• Check in

• This afternoon embark on your first safari game drive

• Return to the lodge for a dinner filled with South African flavours!

• Overnight: Elephant Plains Game Lodge Full Board

DAY 2

• Early morning safari game drive, stopping along the way for a coffee break as the sun rises – this is Africa!

• Relax by the pool or put your feet up and read a book in this peaceful setting – for those with excess energy head over to the gym to let off some steam

• Afternoon safari game drive – time to spot those elusive cats and other creatures large and small

• Dinner under the stars on the pool deck

• Overnight: Elephant Plains Game Lodge Full Board

DAY 3

• Morning safari experience

• Day at leisure

• Afternoon safari game drive

• Dinner

DAY 4

• Final early morning game drive to hopefully spot wildlife species you may not have seen yet

• Transfer to Hoedspruit Airport for your flight to Johannesburg

• Flight ex Hoedspruit to JHB international Airport

Please note: We will schedule your arrival to the lodge between 12:00-14:00 as this will ensure that you are in time for lunch, as well as the afternoon game drive. The flight from Johannesburg to Hoedspruit is 1 hour and the road transfer from the airport to the lodge is approximately. 1.5 hours. Flights into Hoedspruit can be arranged from Cape Town International Airport.
