Botswana Fly-in Safari

Chobe National Park is synonymous with the countless Kalahari elephants that roam its' land. We spend our first two nights in a lovely lodge on the Chobe River, embarking on safari activities in the mornings and evenings in the park. Our next destination is the renowned Okavango Delta, an extraordinary water oasis located in the middle of the Kalahari Desert, which we travel to by small plane. April to October is the dry season and the best time to view wildlife; the Delta is full, so water activities are available.

ITINERARY

Day 1

· Flight ex Johannesburg, O.R Tambo International Airport to Botswana, Kasane Airport

· Collected from Kasane Airport – please look out for a board on which your names will displayed

· Transfer to your lodge situated on the banks of the Chobe River (just outside of the park)

· Check in

· Safari activity in Chobe National Park

· Dinner

· Overnight: Chobe National Park DBB

Day 2

· Early morning safari activity (this may be a boat cruise on the river or a game drive in the park)

· Return to the lodge for breakfast

· Spend the rest of the day around the pool or go for a bush walk with your wildlife ranger. There are several additional activities on offer, which can be organised from the lodge

· Afternoon/evening game drive into Chobe Game Reserve

· Dinner

· Overnight: Chobe National Park DBB

Day 3

· Transfer to Kasane Airport for a chartered flight into the Okavango Delta

· You will be met by welcoming hosts and shown to the camp

· This afternoon we partake in a safari activity

· Dinner

· Overnight: Delta Camp DBB

Day 4

· Early morning safari activity

· Return to the lodge for a day at leisure

· Afternoon safari activity

· Overnight: Delta Camp DBB

Day 5

· Breakfast

· Check out of our lodge

· Flight ex Delta Camp to Maun

· Flight ex Maun to Johannesburg
