About this trip

Chobe National Park is synonymous with the countless Kalahari elephants that roam its' land and is one of Botswana’s premier national parks. The Chobe River flows through the park and boat cruises and game drives provide excellent wildlife viewing opportunities along the river. We spend our first three nights in a lovely lodge on the banks of the Chobe River, embarking on safari activities in the mornings and evenings in the park. Our next destination is the renowned Okavango Delta, an extraordinary water oasis located in the middle of the Kalahari Desert, that is formed by the seasonal flooding of the Okavango River. Lions, leopards, crocodiles and elephants are just some of the animals that this 15000 square kilometre wilderness, which we travel to by small plane.

We recommend giving yourself an extra night in Johannesburg on arrival to ensure you make your morning flight to Botswana. It will also give you the chance to catch up on rest and adjust to time differences before your safari experience
All lodges in Botswana charge a single supplement rate for travellers staying on their own in a room, which is more expensive that the per person sharing rate
Please note we do not compromise on quality, so our travel packages are designed to give our guests the very best of this once in a lifetime experience
This trip takes you into remote locations in Botswana where there is limited cell phone reception, however complimentary Wi-Fi is available for those needing to work or stay connected to the outside world!
Chobe National Park & The Okavango Delta are malaria areas so please consult your doctor for necessary precautions while traveling
Mokoro activities are dependent on water levels in the Delta, vegetation growth and hippo activity
Between May to October it is the dry season and this is the best time to view wildlife - the Delta is full and water activities are available
