On this tour you can look forward to exploring Eswatini, meeting the Swazi people and learning about their way of life, followed by a unique safari experience at Mkhaya Private Game Reserve. Mkhaya is all about intimate encounters with African wildlife and all travel within the reserve is solely guided, by open Land Rovers or on foot. This is probably the best chance of seeing Black Rhino in the wild in Africa today and you can look forward to superb photographic opportunities of wildlife large and small.

Day 1: Eswatini

Collected from King Mswati III International Airport - please look out for a board on which your names will be displayed.

Transfer to Mantenga Lodge in the Ezulwini Valley.

Visit the Swazi Cultural Village for an introduction to Swazi life.

Visit the beautiful Mantenga Falls, Swaziland's largest waterfall.

Explore the National Museum & King Sobhuza Memorial Park in the afternoon for insight into Eswatini’s rich cultural history.

Stone Camp

Stone Camp is situated in the heart of the reserve in a riverine forest alongside a dry river bed. The 12 semi-open thatched, stone cottages have half walls - no windows, no doors!
