About this trip

This tour begins in Eswatini, formally known as Swaziland and one of the smallest African countries bordered by South Africa and Mozambique. Eswatini is deeply rooted in culture and heritage and your time here will be spent immersed in the Swazi way of life. Continue into South Africa where we will visit and stay over in St Lucia, situated on the doorstep of the Isimangaliso UNESCO World Heritage Site. This region is home to the largest population of hippos in South Africa and not far from its shores you will find Hluhluwe Imfolozi Big Five Game Reserve where we will head out on a fun safari. The trip culminates with a visit to Lesotho, a landlocked country within South Africa for a 4x4 experience across the ‘Roof of Africa’. Trip suggestion: Add on an additional 2 night safari in the Kruger National Park at the beginning of your trip

Day 1: Eswatini

Collected from King Mswati III International Airport – please look out for a board on which your names will be displayed.

Transfer to Mantenga Lodge, which is a one-hour drive from the airport and located in the Ezulwini Valley (Valley of Heaven).

Visit the Swazi Cultural Village for a fantastic introduction into Swazi life.

Visit the beautiful Mantenga Falls, Swaziland's largest waterfall.

Spend the afternoon exploring the National Museum & King Sobhuza Memorial Park for insight into Eswatini's rich cultural history.
