About this trip

The Kruger National Park is a safari destination unlike any other, situated in the provinces of Limpopo and Mpumalanga in South Africa. The main draw card, of course, is the abundance of wildlife that roams the land but the environment you will find yourself in is just as exquisite. Gorgeous river scenes, savannah grassland and thorn and marula woodlands all make up this wonderfully wild location. Within the Kruger are Private Game Reserves that share unfenced borders with the park. These reserves, or concessions as they are also known, offer private lodge accommodation and game drives in open vehicles. The Sabi Sands is situated in the southwestern corner of the Kruger National Park, sharing a 50km unfenced border. It is well known for its leopard sightings and Big Five encounters are almost assured. The final leg of this tour is spent visiting Mpumalanga’s famed Panorama Route.

This trip can be adjusted to suit your preferences such as the number of nights you wish to stay and the number of destinations you wish to combine with your trip. We also have several lodges we use that vary in cost for those looking for high-end luxury or more budget-friendly options.
We recommend giving yourself an extra night in Johannesburg on arrival to ensure you make your morning flight to the Kruger. It will also give you the chance to catch up on rest and adjust to time differences before your safari experience.
If you are traveling from Cape Town, we will adjust your itinerary to include flights from Cape Town International Airport into the Kruger.
If you are traveling in your own vehicle then we can adjust the itinerary to only include the lodge accommodation with your meals, drinks, and safari game drives.
All lodges in South Africa charge a single supplement rate for travellers staying on their own in a room, which is more expensive than the per person sharing rate.
Family rooms are available at certain lodges.
Please note we do not compromise on quality, so our travel packages are designed to give our guests the very best of this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
This trip takes you into a remote location in the Kruger Park where there is limited cell phone reception; however, complimentary Wi-Fi is available for those needing to work or stay connected to the outside world!
The Kruger is a malaria area, so please consult your doctor for necessary precautions while traveling.
