Sabi Sands Game Reserve & Victoria Falls

DESCRIPTION

One of the best game reserves in South Africa, the Sabi Sands is renowned for its leopard sightings and luxury lodges that offer guests the best of this beautiful wilderness. Nkhoro Bush Lodge is one such place that merges comfort and style to create a unique and memorable safari experience. Over the next three days you will depart on twice daily game drives with expert rangers and trackers to witness some of Africa’s greatest wonders. Just when you think that it cannot get any better, catch a two-hour flight to Livingstone, Zambia for a two night-stay on the Zambezi river. Your trip culminates with a visit to Victoria Falls – one of the seven natural wonders of the world before catch a flight back to Johannesburg.

DAY 1

• Flight ex JHB International Airport to Skukuza Airport

• Collected from Skukuza– please look out for a board on which your names will be displayed

• Transferred to your lodge in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve

• Check in

• Afternoon game drive

• Dinner

• Overnight: Nkhoro Bush Lodge Full Board

DAY 2

• Rise and shine! Early mornings are one of the best times of the day to see animals in action so hopefully luck is on your side!

• Return to the lodge for breakfast

• One hour bush walk

• Day at leisure to relax!

• Afternoon safari game drive

• Dinner

• Overnight: Nkhoro Bush Lodge Full Board

• Morning safari experience

DAY 4

• Morning transfer to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport

• Flight ex KMI to Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport (Livingstone), Zambia

• On arrival please look out for a board on which your names will be displayed

• Transfer via road to lodge

• Sunset Zambezi Cruise

• Overnight: David Livingstone Safari Lodge & Spa BB

DAY 5

• After an early breakfast we visit Victoria Falls – walk the pathways along the Falls that offer excellent viewing points and photographic opportunities

• We visit the market with its many curios and meet the locals

• Return to the lodge for lunch

• The afternoon is at leisure to enjoy a range of additional activities such as a helicopter flip or microlight flight over the falls; gorge swing; white water rafting; or spa treatments

• Alternatively, you can relax at the hotel and enjoy the view over the Zambezi river

• Overnight: David Livingstone Safari Lodge & Spa BB

DAY 6

• We indulge in our last breakfast overlooking the Zambezi

• Please note Elephant Plains is situated in a malaria area and recommend that you consult your      physician for the necessary precautions before travelling

Please note: Nkhoro Bush Lodge: Children under 12 years of age pay 50% of the adult rate and children under 2 years stay for free. We allow children of all ages in the lodge, but have an age restriction of a minimum of 6 years for children to participate in game drives. Our vehicles often get quite close to the animals and any sudden noises or movement can startle the animals possibly causing an accident. Babysitting can be arranged at an additional cost. Please note that we do supply cots and babysitting options for parents with children.
